Pup Faces Fines for Installing Pool Without Permits
A dog named Fendi has been issued a $1,200 fine after the Dallas, TX housing authority got wind that he put in a pool without the proper building permits.
“It was probably one of the neighbors that tipped them off,” says Ted Claybrook, an area resident. “They’re really particular about that sort of stuff.”
Sources tell The Fluffington Post that Fendi plans to fight the fee, citing a loophole in the building code.

Dog Regrets Low-Thread Count Sheets
Winston, a local cairn terrier, is regretting his decision to get thrifty with his bedding. The pooch reportedly opted to buy 100 thread count sheets instead of the pricier 500 thread count option.
“He’s regretting that choice, now,” said family friend Ariana Gaskin. "The cheaper sheets just feel scratchy and rough and he’s not been sleeping well. Then last week he stayed in a fancy hotel when away on business, so now they’re even worse by comparison.“

Puppy Is Excited for Fall

Summer may be in full swing, but a local puppy is already looking forward to next season. In fact, friends say Lu the dachshund is making sure this Fall will be the best one ever.
“Lu really loves Fall,” says Lainey Gibbert. “She’s already started making plans for when the weather changes. Hayrides, apple picking, foliage tours – they’re all on the agenda. She actually just pre-ordered a bulk shipment of cider from New Hampshire. She doesn’t take this stuff lightly.”
