Puppy Dishwasher Now Available In Under-the-Counter Model
The popular Whirlpool canine dishwasher is now available in a convenient under-the-counter model, the company announced today. Previously, dog dishwashers had to be walked into the kitchen and brought to the dirty plates. With the new under-the-counter model, dishes can be easily loaded directly from the sink.
The dishwashing unit will come in four different sizes, ranging from Shih Tzu, which is designed for smaller, apartment-sized kitchens, all the way up to St. Bernard. A Great Dane unit for commercial operations will be made available next year.

Local Pup Makes Best of Rainy Day
Buddy the pug was initially bummed with the weather forecast called for a week of rain. He moped around the house and bit and flipped on the TV to program his DVR for a few days of indoor entertainment.
But then he thought, what the heck, there’s still fun to be had outside. So he strapped on his raincoat and ventured off into the wet world.
“He had a blast,” reports Raven Gilbert. “Jumping in puddles, splashing through the street. He was filthy by the end of the day, but he loved it.”
Still, while the rain ended up being okay, it’s supposed to be sunny this weekend and Buddy can’t wait.

Puppies Participate in School Parenting Project
Barney and Barbos, ninth grade students and George Washington Carver Senior High in Memphis, TN, recently completed a parenting project for their health class. Students were paired up and instructed to care for a stuffed puppy as if it was their child.
“I think they learned a lot about the responsibility of parenting,” said teacher Miranda Wojiechowski. “Honestly, we probably should be doing this program for dogs a few grades earlier. Barney and Barbos are 3, which is 21 in dog years. They should have been taught the birds and the bees by now.”
Both puppies received an A on the project.

Area Dog Thinks He’s People
According to numerous reports out of the Bay Area, a dog named Simba has been cavorting around town pretending to be human. Simba has been spotted all over the city – whooping it up at hot SoMa night spot Bootie, getting some work done at Stanza Coffee, making numerous trips to the Union Square Apple store, and chowing down at trendy Nob Hill eatery, Sons and Daughters.
“Not only does Simba think he’s people,” said Marjorie Phillips, a source close to the situation, “but he’s kind of a douche. I mean, he eats and shops at the most pretentious places.”
Phillips suspects that Simba has run up quite the credit card bill and doesn’t believe he’ll be able to keep up his two-legs charade much longer.
