Puppy-Run Newspaper Delivery Service Sees Hard Times in Digital Age
Puppy-Run Newspaper Delivery Service Sees Hard Times in Digital Age
Bullseye Carriers, a newspaper delivery company owned and operated by Jett, a yellow lab from Long Island, NY, is reevaluating its business model after a very tough 2011.
Despite a record of extremely punctual service (the company motto is “Neither snow nor rain shall stay these pups from the swift completion of their appointed rounds”), more and more Long Islanders get their news from digital sources, and area papers like Newsday have cut back on contracts with third-party delivery services.

Rhode Island Terrier Picks Favorites in Super and Puppy Bowls
You might say that Sammy Adams, a 1-year-old Boston Terrier from Cumberland, RI, is a bit of a sports nut.
A huge New England Patriots fan, he’s already geared up for Sunday’s game. But he’s also taking sides in Puppy Bowl VIII. His top pick? Fumble, the chihuahua/terrier mix.

Dog Caught Practicing Super Powers Without a License
A dog from Ugento, Italy (whose name has not yet been released by authorities there) has been charged with engaging in super heroic activity without the proper credentials.
As the law stands, all super heroes must maintain a valid license from the Justice League. Practicing with an expired license can incur heavy fines, while an unlicensed super hero may face time in jail, depending on his municipality.
While details are still scant in this instance, it’s certain that the dog in question won’t be foiling criminals anytime soon.
