Rhode Island Cat Obsesses Over March Madness

Brackets already driving you nuts this year? You’ve got nothing on Mr. Pinky, a 10-month-old cat from Providence, RI.

Pinky is so consumed with his NCAA picks that he watches every single play of every single game, and generates an “alternate bracket” based on revised probabilities about once per hour.

While the alternate brackets obviously have no bearing on his pool, Pinky is obsessed with graphing “all possible outcomes,” according to sources close to the situation.

Cat Passes Out In Justin Bieber Autograph Line

Italian cat Sofia might just be Justin Bieber’s #1 fan.  The kitty was reportedly so excited about the possibility of meeting “the Biebs” that she passed out cold while waiting in an autograph line for a meet and greet at a local area mall.  According to witnesses, Sofia was revived shortly after this photo was taken and listened to “Baby” on repeat during the entire car ride home.

Puppy Brothers Declared Co-Champs of Fetch Tournament

Two French bulldog brothers refused to compete individually in this year’s German World Cup Fetch Tournament.

After referees determined there was indeed no rule against cooperative fetch, the brothers proceeded to dominate the competition.

“Eight legs are better than four when it comes to returning a stick as fast as possible,” says Arnold Wilhelm, sports writer for Der Spiegel. “These brothers were perfectly in sync.”

While the win is technically legal according to tournament bylaws, it’s not without controversy. The dogs who placed second and third are petitioning the National Fetch Board to reevaluate the rules of the tournament and disqualify cooperative play.
