Area Kitten Is Super Cautious
Sheti, a local cat, is really worried about everything, according to sources. She never jumps into any situation without thoroughly weighing every option, sniffing every surface, and peeking long and hard around every corner. It’s a trait that has served her well in her young life, though friends admit it can be annoying at times. "It takes her forever to leave the house,“ complained one acquaintance on the condition of anonymity. "I mean seriously, it’s the same hallway every time… does she always have to act like it’s totally new and creep so slowly?!”

Puppy’s New Hairstyle Looks Ridiculous
After arriving home from the groomer early Wednesday, an area puppy remained oblivious to the muted reactions of friends and family.
“Wow,” says Beth Stevens. “It was an interesting choice, that’s for sure.”
They are referring to her new hairstyle – what one onlooker described as “a bouffant on crack.”
Still, no one will call her out on the look, for fear of hurting her feelings.
“If it makes her happy, then God bless her,” says Stevens.

REPORT: Static Cling on the Rise Among Cats
Results from the national Survey on Fur-Level Electricity conducted each year by the 3M Corporation indicates that static cling is up year-over-year among felines. "Most cats carry an electrostatic charge,“ says researcher Anton Nowitzski, who indicated that this year has presented the highest levels of static electricity on record. "We believe a low pressure area dipping into the U.S. from Canada is to blame.”
Cats are advised to be on the lookout for wacky fur and crackling noises when they stretch out on the rug.
