Experts: Americans Not Ready for Canine Head Wraps

They may be all the rage in Milan, but according to fashion experts, the US is not quite ready for dog head wraps.  "American sensibilities are just not ready for the full-on Cruella de Vil look just yet,“ said Mademoiselle assistant editor Joanie Ashworth. "You can’t just bring things stateside that are popular in Europe and hope they’ll be a success… sometimes you have to wait for the culture to catch up.  This is one of those times.”

Cat Forced to Downsize to Smaller Basket

With the notable exception of cats, the sluggish economy has just about hit everyone hard.  However, while most felines have been oblivious to the economic woes of the world, not all have been unaffected.  There exists a small percentage of down-on-their-luck kitties who are actually part of the larger 99%.  Pooh is part of that cat minority, and after his hours were recently cut at the Mid-Afternoon Nappery, he was forced to downsize to a smaller lounging basket.

Ducklings Set to Explore the Backyard

Brave ducklings Vasco and Ferdinand are set to embark on a 3-month journey to the farthest reaches of the backyard.  Their voyage, which is backed by a writ of passage from the Queen of Spain, will leave from the patio, make its way along the side fence to the bird bath and then follow the slate path to the pergola.  

Their goal is to find a quicker land route to the vegetable garden.
