Golden Retriever Puppy Kicks It in New Little Tikes Car

Maddie the golden retriever’s friends are all supremely jealous of her new ride.  The pup is maxin’ and relaxin’ in a classic Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, seen here with the top down. 

“She loves that car,” says Tom Oglethorpe, Maddie’s personal assistant.  "She’s constantly washing it, waxing it, vacuuming the interior.“  According to Oglethorpe Maddie hasn’t brought the car out onto the road yet, but plans to drive it to a classic car show this Sunday.

Dog Makes Embarrassing Medal Podium Faux Pas

According to eye witnesses, James, who placed second at the recent World Competitive Golden Retriever Cup, made a mistake of etiquette while on the medal podium.  Witnesses tell The Fluffington Post that while the national anthem was playing, James put two paws up on the gold level of the podium and leaned there for a full three stanzas.  

A spokesperson for Henry, the winning pup, shrugged it off.  "James is a great competitor.  I’m sure he didn’t mean anything by it.  He just got caught up in the moment.“

The two dogs will likely meet again at the Olympics in London later this year.
