According to police reports, Buster, a local golden retriever, swears he found Roo the cat lying like that. "My client is innocent of all charges,“ Buster’s lawyer, Dominique Astor, told The Fluffington Post by phone. "Roo was already prostrate when Buster arrived. In fact, he’s the one who called 911! Would he really call for help if he was the one who incapacitated Roo? Ask yourself that. It doesn’t make sense.”
Roo is reportedly resting at home and could not be reached for comment.

Local Puppy Is Ready for the Beach
Though consistent summer weather hasn’t quite reached Hyannis, MA, a puppy named Boomer is completely ready for the beach. "He’s got his towel, he’s got his shakes, he’s got his sunblock, he’s ready to go,“ says long-time beach companion Adele Smith.
Smith tells The Fluffington Post that Boomer has been looking forward to beach season for months and has been practicing his sand castle building skill in a sandbox he built in the basement.
