Cat Family Wins a DIY Network Bathroom Renovation
Fluffy and Mittens Rowan, a cat couple from upstate New York, have been married for three years and have two kittens. The pair have been in desperate need of a bathroom renovation ever since moving into their three bedroom home last summer.
That’s why they were thrilled to hear this week that they had been selected to receive a bathroom makeover from DIY Network renovation show Bath Crashers.
“Mittens is always coming to work later,” said co-worker Clayton Escovedo. "Two working parents, on the same schedule every morning, sharing that tiny bathroom? Nope. No way. Not gonna work.“
Neighbors say that the Rowans have been wanting to get a double vanity installed since they moved in, but just haven’t had the money.

TIP: Tupperware Keeps Cats Fresh for Spellcasting
We’ve all been there. You’ve got the cauldron bubbling, happily adding items – a little eye of newt, some frog warts, night shade – and then the recipe calls for a fresh black cat. But, heaven’s above, yours has gone all spoiled!
That’s why most modern spellcasters use plastic containers to keep their ingredients fresher, longer. Plastic storage containers with an airtight lid can keep your cats meowing until you need them for your nefarious concoctions.

Hipster Dog Liked Bacon Before it Was Mainstream
Offer some crispy bacon to Riley the Shiba and she’ll turn up her nose. It’s not that she doesn’t want it. She just can’t be seen eating it.
“Riley loved bacon back when it was independent,” says Darryl Bohnert, a close friend. “It was just a farmer and his pigs, man. Free range. But then everyone started liking bacon, and it got all corporate, and it ditched its drummer. Now it’s just uncool, man. Riley’s moved on.”
