Cat Grows Old-Timey Mustache for Charity
Cat homelessness is a cause near and dear to Maximus’s heart. The altruistic kitty began growing a mustache on Thursday in solidarity with those who have fallen on hard times.
“He asked all his friends to support him and donate 50 cents for each day he keeps the ‘stache,” says Mark O’Dell, Maximus’s friend and roommate. “So far, he’s raised $4. Yeah, he doesn’t have a ton of friends.”

According to sports experts, the United States’ synchronized cuteness team competing in the cat division at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England this summer have a real shot at winning a gold medal.
The team, which won silver at the World Championships last fall, have really coalesced as a unit since then. “They’re gelling at the absolute best time,“ said Joel Hollenbeck, the cuteness analyst for NBC Sports. “If they’re as cute in London as I have seen them in practice the last couple of weeks, there’s no doubt in my mind they’re the team to beat.”
The US is expected to face its stiffest competition from the Scottish team, whose all-Fold squad is always a hit with judges and the media.

Boston Terrier Cannot Take a Bad Photo
Wendell, a Boston Terrier from Belize, literally is incapable of taking a bad picture. "We’ve tried to catch him when he’s sleeping, when he’s eating, when he’s exercising – it doesn’t matter, he always looks good,“ says friend and personal photographer Gerald Laroche.
According to friends, Wendell just has that smoldering model look down, and he has a sixth sense about when a lens is turned on him. "He’s always got ‘the look’ on his face… he never misses a beat,” says Laroche.

Meerkat Middle Child Ruins Family Photo
Dr. and Mrs. Moorehouse just wanted a classic family portrait. The well-to-do meerkat couple made arrangements with the desert’s best photographer, AJ Felps.
“The kids were well behaved at first,” Felps tells The Fluffington Post. “Everyone lined up and gave their best smiles. But then one of them started acting out.”
Felps is referring to Clayton, the middle pup, who began making faces and fidgeting during the photo shoot.
“It’s classic middle child syndrome,” says Felps. “I see it all the time. But Dr. Moorehouse had a good father-son talk with him, and got him to settle down.”
However, a source tells The Fluffington Post that Moorehouse promised Clayton ice cream in exchange for good behavior.
