Bird Watching iPad Apps Are Popular With Cats
New data released from Apple finds that cats who own iPads download a substantial number of bird watching apps. On average, cats pay for three bird watching apps every six months.
This type of content is unique however, as the data counters a wider trend of kittens downloading fewer apps overall.

Scientists Trace Pomeranian Heritage to Teddy Bears
Geneticists at the University of California, Berkeley will publish new findings on the breeding heritage of Pomeranians.
“We’ve found a fork in the family tree that may explain why Poms are so puffy and cheerful all the time,” says Daniel Kromer, a senior researcher. “It seems they share a common ancestor with Teddy bears. It makes a lot of sense. I mean, just look at those things.”

Chihuahua Laughed Out of Comic-Con for Lame Costume
A Chihuahua named Sunny arrived in San Diego, CA this weekend, ready to get his geek on at Comic-Con.
“He’s a big Superman fan, but didn’t have a lot of time to make a costume,” says Allan Lansford, a source close to the situation. “He walked in there with a plastic cape, and those nerds really roasted him.”
Witnesses say Sunny left the convention early out of sheer embarrassment.
