Prized Cat Collection Stolen
A local man’s cat collection was pilfered by burglars last night, the latest in a string of area cat burglaries. The collection, which has won numerous awards, was taken on Monday night while owner Clarence Bichlebaum was at a charity dinner.
“When I got home, almost everything was gone,” recalled Bichlebaum on a local television news report this morning. "Only one of my precious cats remained in the display case. Just one!“
Police are looking for any information related to this and other recent thefts. Bichlebaum has promised a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of whoever took his cats.
