Dogs Take to the Streets to Register Voters
With the U.S. presidential elections nearing, two dogs have decided to volunteer to register more eligible voters. Rocky and Biff, who live in Grosse Pointe, MI, have begun going door-to-door on behalf of non-partisan political group Rock the Vote to make sure people are registered to vote, know where their polling place is, and have a plan for how to get there on election day.
“Their main goal is to register more young people,” said friend Steve Jenks, “but I know they’re helping anyone who will listen get prepare for election day.”

Kitty’s Collection of Hotel Toiletries Is Unmatched
Some kittens collect postcards or magnets when they go on vacation, but Lala the cat collects tiny bottles hotel shampoo and conditioner. The kitty began collecting hotel toiletries last year when she started traveling more for work, according to friends, and now has amassed an enormous collection.
“We have no idea what she’s planning to do with all that shampoo and soap,” said Ross Nugent, a source close to the situation. "I mean, she doesn’t use soap when she gives herself a bath, so who knows.“
Lala’s collection reportedly includes over 50 different hotel brands of soap and hair care products from five separate countries.

Hamster’s Theater Debut Spoiled by Stage Fright
Reginald Fuzzybottom, the legendary hamster actor of the British stage, was set to make his American debut as Hamlet in the new off-Broadway adaptation of the Shakespeare play, when he was struck by an uncharacteristic bout of stage fright.
“We’re not really sure what happened,” said stage manager Alex Cornwall, who had to send out Fuzzybottom’s understudy, bunny thespian Oliver Hoppers, at the last minute. "One second Reggie was running lines with our leading lady, and the next, he’d locked himself in his cage and refused to come out.“
Critics said Hoppers’ performance was admirable, but unless Fuzzybottom gets his act together, the theater is expected to have trouble selling tickets for the remainder of the engagement.
