Cause of Dog’s Giggle Fit Uncertain
A pup named Sosuke burst out laughing early Wednesday morning and has not been able to contain his giggles since. Though doctors have examined him, they have not come to a consensus.
“It could be some form of canine hysteria,” says veterinarian P.J. Copperfield. “Then again, he did just watch Bridesmaids. That movie is hilarious.”

Bunny Concerned Over NFL Referee Lockout

With the NFL season already into its fourth week, the current referee lockout has persisted with no apparent resolution in sight. Players, coaches and fans alike have expressed their outrage over the mediocre officiating by replacement referees, and the situation has become nothing short of an embarrassment for the league.
Chippy, however, is just concerned about the bottom line. The local bunny is reportedly worried about the lockout’s ultimate effect on the NFL, purely from a business standpoint.
“He’s concerned over the long-term implications of the lockout, and what it means for the league fiscally,” says Terence Hough, a spokesperson for the bunny. “He’s also unsure of union regulations and the place they have within the current NFL business model. The referee’s union and the owners both want something out of this. He’s hoping labor negotiations produce a beneficial resolution for both sides. Needless to say, he’s a very concerned bunny.”

Pup Still Puzzled by NFL Ref Debacle
A Shihpoo named Mags can’t seem to get her head around the NFL’s ongoing referee lockout and the terrible call that infuriated sports fans on Monday night.
“She’s not sure who to get behind, the league or the refs,” says Marlaine Corbis, a source close to the situation. “It’s a real mess, but she’s hoping they come to an agreement soon.”

Cat Sleeps Through Job Interview
After spending all night excitedly tweaking his resume, a cat named Kevin slept straight through his alarm, missing a job interview with his dream company.
“He would have done anything to work at the yarn store,” says Lonnie Sweetland, a close friend. “He was so nervous and antsy about the interview, it kept him up until 3 am. That’s what did him in. He’s kicking himself right now.”
