Dog Isn’t Ready to Let ‘Gangnam Style’ Go

According to sources, Chemmy the dog just isn’t ready to let ‘Gangnam Style’ go. The song by Korean rapper PSY exploded on the Internet this summer with a flashy  music video, becoming a bona fide craze in America. However, like all Asian Internet dance fads, it is slowly becoming old news.

“Chemmy really got swept up in it,” says Charles DuPont, a friend of the dog. “We all did. But it’s been three months. I keep telling him he needs to move on, but he won’t have any of it. He’s actually organizing another flash mob for this weekend. I just don’t have the heart to tell him to call it off.”

Cat Monitors Household Water Usage

After learning about the dangers of overconsumption of the world’s fresh water supply at school, Toulouse the cat has been diligently monitoring his household’s water usage. While admirable, says a source close to the situation, the cat has gone too far.

“Has he not heard of a little thing called privacy?” asked roommate Tammy Winterbottom.  "I mean, sure, knock twice if I’m in the shower for more than 10 minutes, run the dishwasher on light mode, whatever, but some of the stuff he’s doing is just too much.“

According to Winterbottom, the most egregious of Toulouse’s offenses is his watchful eye over the amount of times the toilets are flushed.  "Yes for number two, and no for number one,” she said. “Fine. It’s a little gross, but I can deal. But, seriously, does he have to sit on the bowl and watch me while I go?  It’s creepy.  It has to stop.”

Mohawks Are Back in Style for Kittens

What goes around, comes around, so they say.  And in the world of kitten hair styles, mohawks are back en vogue.  

Redbook magazine is reporting in this month’s issue that kittens have rediscovered the punk aesthetic.  "Leather and mohawks are sweeping the halls of cat high schools across the country,“ said feline style editor Meghan Salizar.  "These things really go in cycles.  A few months from now I’m sure we’ll be back to neon parachute pants and patterned fades.”

Bunny Demands Belly Rubs

Some bunnies are just really bossy, and the bossiest bunny on Maple Street is Olly.  

“He just wants – neigh, demands – belly rubs all the time,” said Tony Holt, a source close to the situation. “Like, non-stop.”

According to Holt, Olly also levies a carrot tax upon every household on the street.  "It’s like we’re living in some weird bunny fiefdom.  I don’t remember the real estate agent mentioning this when we were house hunting last fall,“ he said.
