Pup Looks ‘Extra Cute’ After Nap
Researchers at Purdue University are looking into why Alice the Shih-Tzu appears cuter than normal just after a nap.
“It’s a physiological property we’ve temporarily dubbed ‘Extra Cute’ while we figure out the appropriate Latin term,” says Dr. Khalid Tepper. “Right now we think it has something to do with blinky eyes and wobbly paws, but we have a few more experiments to conduct before anything’s conclusive.”

Dog Scores Amazing Black Friday Deals at Petco
A local pup named Penny was absolutely over the moon after scoring a number of killer deals during Black Friday sales.
“She packed a thermos of coffee and got in line at Petco at 3am,” said close friend Jenny Turlington. Â "She was third in line, behind a chocolate lab who had been there since midnight and a bunny named Thurgood.“
Penny was able to get some amazing deals, including a laser pointer for her cat friend Webster, and a free pair of novelty antlers. Â She is so happy with her savings that she has reportedly been jumping around the yard all morning.
