Many Older Dalmatians Now Dye Their Spots
It’s a little known fact that as Dalmatians age, their spots often go grey, and then white, making them look essentially just like any other mid-sized dog. Until recently, there was nothing an aging pup could do. However, a newly developed hair dye treatment from a New York doggie salon called Dapper Dogs is giving old dogs a new lease on life.
“The love it,” said Cindy Kirtzner, owner of Dapper Dogs. “Many older Dalmatians are self conscious about their appearance once their spots begin to go grey. Our new dying technique is totally safe, completely realistic and only takes about an hour, once per week.”
The Brooklyn-based salon is currently booked up through May, but plans to open a second, Midtown location soon to keep up with demand.

Calvin Klein Names Puppy as Newest Underwear Model
The latest Calvin Klein underwear model is Hugo, a French Bulldog from Malta, the company announced yesterday. The puppy will appear in a series of billboards, set to go up in New York and L.A. in April, as well as magazine ads. The Fluffington Post scored a preview of the pup’s latest photo shoot, which you can see above.
“Calvin Klein is a huge brand and Hugo is thrilled to be chosen to represent them,” said the dog’s agent, Doug Hall. “Modeling for CK basically launched Ashton Kutcher’s career, so we’re hopeful that this is only the beginning for Hugo.”

REPORT: Cat Gets Crumbs All Over the Bed
Responding to a domestic dispute call earlier today, officers found a tense scene at an area household.
“Basically, Bruce the cat loves to eat cookies in bed,” said Sgt. Pete Williams, who responded to the call. “Apparently, he’s not very neat about it and gets crumbs all in the sheets. His roommate had enough.”
Cyndy Collins, who lives with the kitty, called the cops to take Bruce away.
“Strictly speaking, getting crumbs in the bed isn’t something we can arrest for,” said Williams. “But I can sympathize. I hate when my wife snacks in bed.”
