Cat Falls Asleep Halfway Up the Stairs
A local cat named Twinkle couldn’t quite make it to the second floor this morning. According to reports, he got about halfway to his destination before being overwhelmed with the desire to take a nap.
So that’s what he did.
“He’s been sleeping on the fifth step from the top for about 90 minutes now,” said Jan Bergen, a source close to the situation. “He’s not showing any signs of waking up to continue his ascent any time soon.”

According to sources, Rosco the ferret lied on his online dating profile.
“H claimed on [his profile] that he likes long walks on the beach,” said one source with knowledge of the situation. “But he hates the beach. He’s always complaining about the sand getting in his paws.”
The source, who wished to remain anonymous, also alleged that the photo Rosco posted depicting him at the beach was Photoshopped.
“It’s not even well done,” said the source.
Rosco would not comment on the record, but maintains his innocence.

An upcoming game of “tennis ball” that pits Chuey the Chihuahua against Z the Rottweiler is expected to be a very lopsided affair. Vegas oddsmakers expect Z to easily cover the historically large 40 point spread.
“Chuey is clearly the underdog here,” said ESPN tennis ball analyst Clark Baker, citing the dog’s small size as as major disadvantage. “But I wouldn’t totally count her out. She’s scrappy.”
