Cat Horror Film Announced

By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent

It was the perfect house. At least, that’s what Truffles thought.

Moviegoers will soon experience true terror when Cat House comes to theaters this Halloween. Produced by New Line Cinema, the film will tell the chilling tale of a cat homeowner that got so much more than he ever bargained for.

“OK, so Truffles, he’s a cat, right? And he buys this house,” says director Ned Freeland. “He thinks it’s a pretty nice house. Really quaint and peaceful. Until one night… another cat shows up. But it’s a ghost cat. It’s the ghost of a cat that died in the house, years and years ago. And now Truffles is really scared, and he wants to leave but he still really likes the house. But then he decides that he actually has to leave, because the ghost cat is just totally creeping him out. So he leaves. That’s actually the whole movie.”

Cat Plans to Improve Typing Skills

By Kenneth Rosen, FluffPo Correspondent

Fear after misspelling “meow” and “purr” has left little McClane the cat frightened by social media and digital correspondence. But the New Year has him in high spirits.

“All he wanted to do was reach the keyboard, where he hoped to stop me from typing,” said Kat George, a friend of the kitty. “McClane is a wily and resourceful foe.”

McClane’s determination to type well led Ms. George to buy a keyboard protector that doubles as a scratching pad.

Capybara’s Gourmet YouTube Videos Lead to TV Deal

By mirandate, FluffPo Correspondent

Dobbye, a capybara from Seattle, WA, is already renowned for his charming cooking videos on YouTube, which feature simple, fresh ingredients and easy preparation instructions.

His show has just been picked up by The Food Network, and will focus on recipes for rodents of unusual size. Dobbye’s dishes utilize simple ingredients like apples, romaine lettuce and corn cobs, and are always quick to prepare – for example, just chomp an apple whole and leave the remainder on the ground.

Dobbye’s cooking is also known for unique seasonings that can easily be found without thumbs. The show is expected to air this coming fall on Tuesday evenings, possibly as a lead-in to Paula Deen.

Cat Gets Pet-icure at New Spa

By mirandate, FluffPo Correspondent

Indianapolis, IN – Nym, a local cat, recently won a raffle and was able to treat herself to a free pet-icure at the Hairy Friends Salon, a new downtown business. Albert Jones, salon owner, said “Nym won our most exclusive pampering package, with a day of petting, acupuncture, brushing, and our signature All-Claws Pet-icure. We could tell she really liked the fact that all our products are natural, featuring the cat spit that gives hair that extra bounce. She purred the whole time."

As of press time, Nym had not yet written a Yelp review of the salon, but Jackie Wohlburger, a source close to the situation, said she expected Nym to write a positive review of her experience at Hairy Friends. "Nym loves to write positive reviews of local businesses,” she said. “For instance, after we visited that Tuna Taco truck, she went on Yelp and wrote, ‘as;xxxxxxxxxxx55555555.’ She also rated it five stars.”

Bunny Excited About New Schwarzenegger Movie

By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent

It’s been a long time coming. Gus the rabbit could hardly remember the last time he saw Arnold Schwarzenegger on the big screen. One can imagine his excitement then, when he found out the action legend would be starring in The Last Stand, his first film in a decade.

“He already bought his tickets,” says Chip Heineke, a friend of the bunny. “He doesn’t even know what it’s about, or who else is in it. Arnold is in it though, and that’s all that matters. Gus would see him in anything.”

An avid fan of the Austrian Oak since his debut on the American film scene, Gus has seen virtually all of Schwarzenegger’s movies.

“He really just loves the one-liners,” says Heineke. “He’s hoping this new one will have one of those instant classics like ‘I’ll be back,’ or, ‘I’m a cop, you idiot.’ He’s also hoping he goes ‘Ayyeaaagh’ at least once.”
