Cat Confronted by Roommate for Stealing Beauty Products

Jeni Bandair has long been harboring suspicions that her roommate was using her beauty products without asking. She’s been living with Missy the cat for five years, but recently noticed that her cosmetics and hair care items were disappearing too fast for one person.

“Her coat has just been looking really soft and shiny recently, and it does look natural,” Bandair said. "I didn’t want to create drama in the apartment, but that’s pretty uncool to use somebody’s things without asking.“

Last night, as the pair was prepping to host a party, Brandair caught Missy paws deep in a jar of her salon-quality leave-in conditioner.

Though The Fluffington Post has been unable confirm reports that Missy was locked in the bedroom for the party, it is clear that tensions are running high at the house.

Crafty Cat Prepares for Epic Halloween Costume

Thanks to her well-honed sewing skills, Tigre the cat has always been a Halloween aficionado. This year, her costume inspiration is The Hunger Games, and she recently went on a shopping spree at a local fabric store in order to recreate one of Katniss Everdeen’s more dramatic ensembles.

Roommate Ellie Gonzales said that Tigre usually gets her ideas from the latest Hollywood hits.

“This year it’s Katniss, last year she was Catwoman from The Dark Knight Rises, which, frankly, I thought was kind of a cop-out” Gonzales said.

According to Gozales, the cat really gets into character.

“Last year she got into a fight with someone dressed as Batman,” she said. “I hope we don’t have a repeat performance, but I’m not too worried. I mean, who’s going to dress up as President Snow?”

Kitty Firefighter Completes Training

It’s not an uncommon aspiration to want to be a firefighter. Magnus the cat made that dream a reality last week when he completed basic training, becoming a certified volunteer for Ladder 25 in Springfield, MO.

“When he came to the fire house a month ago, we didn’t really take him seriously,” says Chief Phil DeMott. “He’s proven himself, though. We’re happy to have him on the team.”

Magnus was taken on his first ride-along on Monday, and by all accounts did exceptionally well.

“He can use the radio. He can work the hoses. You’d barely know he was a cat,” says DeMott. “He’s adept at pretty much everything – except tree rescues of other cats. He’s basically useless with those. Also ladders. He’s not too fond of water, either. Other than that, though, he’s perfect.”
