A local kitten has announced through his publicist that he is “totally psyched” about life. According to sources close to the kitten, he’s been smiling and running around all morning (in between naps).

California Voters to Decide Dog/Cat Marriage in November
When Americans go to the polls to choose a president in November, citizens of California might have something else to decide. An advocacy group called Barquality Now! has announced that it needs just 1,000 more paw prints to get its dog/cat marriage measure on ballots. The proposition – which will likely be assigned Prop. #12 – would legalize marriage between consenting dogs and cats.

STUDY: Cat Dreams Are Awesome
Research from the National Feline Sleep Institute indicates that cat dreams are, on average, 67% more fun than the dreams of humans. While critics of the study say that the test group was too small and did not control for factors like whether the subjects had “had a good hairball lately,” study author Jan Gerbanski stands by his results.
“Do you ever wonder why kittens sleep 20 hours per day? It’s the dreaming – their dreams are just super cool,” he said.

A local cat’s strategy of hiding within his own fur is not panning out too well, according to eye-witnesses.
