Area Kitten Shocked People Still Care About Lance Armstrong
Local kitten Marney is sick of hearing about Lance Armstrong. As people prepare to watch the exclusive interview between the disgraced athlete and Oprah, in which Armstrong is expected to admit to doping, Marney’s reaction is: yawn.
“She gave up on Lance years ago,” said Lizzy Goler, a source close to the situation. "She was a big fan and cheered him on to his first five Tour de France titles. But then she started getting bored by cycling and when the doping stuff started to really come full bore, she just gave up.“
According to Goler, Marney does hope the interview goes well for Oprah.
"Marney’s a cat, so she doesn’t have a job and can’t afford cable. She misses Oprah on network TV, but she wishes her well,” said Goler. "She also hopes all the Armstrong drama and douchery – her word, not mine – won’t damage the good work that Livestrong does.“

Cat Ridiculed for Liking All His Own Photos
An area cat named Twiskers is facing the ire of his social media followers this evening after it was discovered that he was artificially inflating the like counts on his Instagram photos by liking them from various accounts he’d set up.
“It’s shameful,” said Tom Detlund, a former-follower of the cat. “I was a huge Twiskers fan – he takes gorgeous landscapes – but when I found out he was boosting his like counts in fraudulent ways, I unfollowed immediately.”
Twiskers has lost at least 12 followers since last night, according to social media tracking web sites.

Kitten Vies for Spot on ‘America’s Next Top Model’
By Mirandate, FluffPo Correspondent
HAGERSTOWN, MD – Lexi, a kitten from Hagerstown, is determined to make it to the next cycle of America’s Next Top Model. Sources say that as a kitten, Lexi believes she has an “edge” similar to past contestants, and is ready to break new ground as the first feline contestant. Lexi has been heavily influenced by Tyra Banks herself, as seen in the portfolio she assembled for the open-call audition.
Annika Helms, a source close to the situation, says that “As a cat, Lexi was born pretty fierce, but Tyra has really influenced her posture and cat-walk. But I do think she’s better at cat-ure modeling than commercial.”
