The Fluffington Post has learned exclusively that the local kitten pictured above is absolutely bonkers for NPR. "He listens to their podcasts non-stop on his iPod,“ said a source close to the situation. "His one complaint is that All Things Considered rarely covers pressing cat issues.”

Lonely Cat Finds Prospects Via Internet Dating Site
Gizzmo, a 4-year-old cat from Philadelphia, is tired of looking for love in all the wrong places – chiefly, alleyways, catnip bars and singles cruises.
She, like many of her friends, has taken to the Internet instead, and created a profile on cat.ch, a popular feline dating site. Within minutes, the attractive young kitty had a number of personal messages, and is hopeful one of them is from Mr. Right. Or, at least someone who isn’t neutered.

Area Kitten Just Isn’t Himself Until His Morning Coffee
George, an abandoned kitten rescued recently by a Georgia family, just doesn’t quite feel right until he’s had his morning coffee. According to sources, George prefers medium or “full city” roasts and is planning to take a course in brewing science at the Counter Culture training center in Atlanta in the spring.

Polar Bear Plunge Added to the Olympics as Demonstration Sport
Polar bear sporting enthusiasts will be excited to learn that the “polar bear plunge,” a triathlon style event that combines a 2,500 meter swim with a 5,000 kilometer snow run and a fishing skills competition, will be added to the 2012 Olympics in London. The sport will be designated a “demonstration” event, meaning that no medal will be awarded. Because London is not warm enough for the snow run, that portion of the event will take place in the northern Norway town of Tromsø.
