STUDY: The Cuter the Dog, the Louder the “Awww”

According to research from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, there is a direct correlation between the cuteness of a puppy and the decibel level of the human response.  This has led many prominent members of the scientific community to wonder just who the heck is in charge of the research budget at Illinois’ state university system.

Union Cats Take Full Advantage of Nap Breaks

A recent survey by the AFL-CIO finds that an overwhelming majority of union cats – 86% – make a point to take their 15 minute nap breaks on every shift.

The breaks were negotiated into union contracts as early as 1974, when labor advocacy groups fought to mitigate the harsh working conditions that come with being a cat.
