British Hamster Adores Avant-Garde Furniture

British Hamster Adores Avant-Garde Furniture

You might say that Audrey’s taste is post-modern and eclectic. The 10-month-old Russian Dwarf hamster from the UK only furnishes her two-burrow apartment with avant-garde pieces that are more form than function.

The latest addition to her collection is the Cloud Couch (pictured above), a piece by Spanish designer Frederico Andres. It’s inspired by the cloudscapes that float over Barcelona, and retails for a cool $12,500. Only three exist, and Audrey never stops talking about how she outbid Alan Cummings for it at a Sotheby’s auction.

Area Dog Likes to Relax on the Weekend

After a long week toiling away as man’s best friend – a demanding job, by the way – a local dog just likes to kick back and relax each weekend.  "Cody doesn’t like to work on Saturday and Sunday.  He’ll just lay back on the couch with an ice cold dish of water and maybe watch some baseball,“ says a source close to the situation.

Who can blame him, really?

UK Kitty Keeps Crib Warm for New Baby

A cat from Worcester is taking her Big Sister duties very seriously. Bella made it her mission to keep the nursery cozy until the new baby is old enough to move in.

“Until our baby came along in February, Bella was very much the baby in the house,” says Helen King, a mom close to the situation. “She took some time to adjust, but now she and baby get along just fine.”

Puppy Sees Something

By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent

According to sources, Crosby the puppy has spotted something off in the distance and is now hurrying excitedly toward it. Initial reports speculate that the object could be a twig, or perhaps a leaf.

“Now, see, I don’t know about that,” says neighbor Joe Friedman. “To me it looks more like a bone. Or several slices of bacon. I really wish that fence wasn’t in the way.” When pressed for further details, Friedman could only say that the object was something “mouth-watering, probably.”

At press time, The Fluffington Post could bring you no further information as Friedman was still guessing objects.

Virginia Dog Organizes Closet, Regrets Past

With spring in the air, Bella, a pup from Chesapeake, VA, decided it was high time to clean out her closet.

Little did she know it would be a trip into her dark past. After nearly three hours combing through circus paraphernalia, mini skirts and *NSYNC fanny packs, Bella shoved it all back in and shut the door on her embarrassing life.
