4 Out of 5 Interior Designers Prefer Cats to Shag Carpet
A survey conducted by Better Homes and Gardens finds that if cost was not a factor, 80% of interior decorators would incorporate cats over shag carpeting in their designs.
“At the end of the day, carpet is lifeless,” says Frederick Murray, designer and host of HGTV’s Flip This Cat. “With cats, you bring that plushness into the space, but it’s dynamic. One day they’re on the floor, the next day they’re in your armoire. It keeps things fresh.”

Post Office Raises Rates on Overnight Puppy Delivery
More bad news for the USPS. Plummeting revenue has forced the Postmaster General to hike rates on the overnight delivery of puppies. This comes on the heels of a recent price increase on first-class kittens.
“We have to raise rates to keep up with rising fuel costs,” says Harold Lemon, spokesperson for the USPS. “Shipping puppies gets expensive.”
Many in the canine shipping industry are concerned.
“I’ve been shipping puppies with the Post Office for 29 years,” says Greg Lewis, co-founder of the Puppy of the Month Club. “This might be the year I switch to UPS.”

Cat Can’t Get Over ‘90s ‘Whassup?’ Bud Commercials
A cat named Jack from Leeds, UK is stuck in the ’90s. While everyone else on earth has moved on from the popular ’90s Budweiser beer commercials, Jack insists on saying “Whassuuuuuuup?!” every chance he gets.
“It’s seriously not funny anymore,” says Ron Tillman, Jack’s longtime roommate. “It hasn’t been funny in 12 years. I really need to move out.”
