Bunny Fired by USPS for Mail Tampering
The United States Postal Service has fired a bunny mail carrier for allegedly opening mail that was not addressed to him and eating it. According to documents obtained via the Freedom of Information Act, the rabbit, whose name remains redacted in official documents, was caught on no less than three occasions having chewed open envelopes and chomped through their contents.

STUDY: Cats Not as Effective as Index Cards at Organizing Books
A new study from the Dewey Institute finds that while cats are far more adorable than index cards, they aren’t as effective at organizing books. While this new study will undoubtedly save some libraries the mistake of investing in all-cat system, the American Library Association tells The Fluffington Post that as many of 175 libraries across the country have collectively already spent over $20 million on these ineffective organizational catalogs.

Dog Home Ownership On the Rise
In what might be a sign that the canine economy is finally starting recover, new home sales to dogs was up 3% in April. That’s the first month-to-month gain in new dog house sales in over two years, after 27 consecutive months of stagnation or contraction in the dog housing market.
While this is certainly a positive indicator, economists warn that unemployment among dogs is still at history highs and there is a long way to go before the recession is over.
