Hamster Announces Run for President

At a sparsely attended public appearance outside a mall in Overland Park, KS a political newcomer named Dizzy the Hamster threw his exercise wheel into the race for President of the United States.  Dizzy is running as an independent on an anti-vacuum platform that might resonate with hamster voters but will be a tough sell to the general public.  

Though Dizzy has no prior experience in politics and has never held public office, his campaign is likely to be well capitalized due to his family sawdust fortune.

Cat Protesters Occupy Bathroom Sink

The Fluffington Post has received numerous reports that two local cats have locked themselves in the bathroom sink in an apparent protest against cat baths.  According to a statement released via a website attributed to the cats, the pair lead a growing movement among felines that seeks to redefine cat baths as between one cat and his tongue, or perhaps another cat’s tongue, but definitely not humans and a bathtub.

Paranoid Pug Keeps Constant Watch for Danger

Hope, a 7-week old pug puppy from Shanghai, China, has developed an acute paranoia that danger lurks around every corner.  "She’s really jumpy,“ said close-friend Christopher Chung.  "Her eyes are always darting about, like she’s trying to look in all directions at once.”

Doctors say her fear is just a phase and she’ll grow out of it once she discovers boy pugs.
