Puppy Has Big Plans for Yard
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
According to sources, Max the Lab just can’t wait to get started on his owner’s backyard. The enterprising puppy has recently expressed interest in converting the drab quarter-acre plot into a veritable dog playland.
“Yeah, he really wants to turn the place around,” says Bob Stewart, a friend. “He’s nothing if not ambitious.”
Blueprints obtained by The Fluffington Post have hinted at the true scope of Max’s vision. Among other amenities, the plans call for a bouncy castle, water slide and ball pit, all built to puppy proportions.
“The bacon stand is going to be awesome,” says Stewart. “Of course, he’s going to need permits for everything. Let’s hope the mayor isn’t a dorkwad about it.”

Kitten’s Work Attire is ‘Too Formal’
Sources at the local paper mill confirm that Todd the kitten came to his first day of work dressed more formally than required. "The company dress code is business casual,“ says HR manager, Emily Targus. "I have no idea how Todd interpreted that as black tie.”
For his part, friends say Todd was thoroughly embarrassed by his wardrobe choice and plans to wear khakis and a sweater on Monday.

English Bulldog Wins Funny Face Competition
Bruce “The Moose,” an English Bulldog from Ottawa, Canada, has prevailed in the annual Tri-County Funny Face Tournament with a nearly perfect score of 97.6. "His routine was almost flawless,“ said long-time judge, Simon Brundage. "If he had ‘stuck the landing,’ so to speak, on the googly eyes during his final funny face, he might have gotten a perfect score.”
As it is, Bruce will be taking home the grand prize trophy for the fourth time in five years and there is already talk of labeling his dominant run a “dynasty.”
