Confused Cat Thinks He’s a Dog
A cat named Helo from Bainbridge Island, WA is suffering a bit of an identity crisis.
“He loves to play tug,” says Lisa Worley, a source close to the situation. “I think he thinks he’s a dog. When playing tug, you can hear him growl just like a dog does. He also plays fetch and pants like a dog when he’s worn out from playing.”

Dog’s Barbecue Goes Off Without a Hitch
Lazzy, a pitbull pup known among friends for his delicious barbecued chicken recipe, managed to throw what attendees are calling a perfect backyard shindig this past weekend.
“The chicken was great, the beer was ice cold, the music selection was on point – it was just a great way to end the summer,” said neighbor Tony Simonelli.
According to Simonelli the barbecue went from 3pm until well after dark and concluded with roasting s’mores over the new fire pit Lazzy had built in the place of the now-removed above ground pool.

Wrinkle-Proof Cats Fail in Lab Tests
According to a review in this month’s Consumer Reports, so-called “wrinkle-proof cats” don’t live up to their promise as marketed. The magazine tested five brands of the supposedly wrinkle resistant felines and found that not one had any noticeable improvement over standard models.
“You’re paying a premium for a feature that just doesn’t deliver,” said editor James Scarlett. Not one of the five wrinkle-free kitties tested managed to score a recommendation to buy from the magazine.
“If you’re really concerned with wrinkling, you’re better off just saving your money and going with a shelter model, and then putting a humidifier in the room,” said Scarlett.
