Terrier Executes Longest Fetch on Record
A Jack Russell Terrier named Linus has returned a stick over the longest distance ever recorded for a game of fetch – approximately 480 kilometers, from Gothenburg to Stockholm in Sweden.
“To be fair, we’re not entirely certain it’s the same stick,” says Adam Franzen, who witnessed the event. “But we’ll give Linus the benefit of the doubt.”

Kitten Nails Soap Opera Audition
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
Beatrice the kitten had already gotten her fair share of credits during her early acting career. However, nothing could quite compare to getting a supporting role on Kitties and Neighbors, the highest-rated cat soap opera on television. Now, thanks to her stellar audition last week, her dream just may become a reality.
“She read for the part of Samantha,” says Jennifer Schumann, a source close to the situation. “In the scene, she had to look Gerald, her philandering lover, in the eye and say, ‘I’m leaving you, and I’m never coming back.’ It came out as more of a ‘meow,’ but she nailed it. If she doesn’t at least get a callback, it’s safe to say they’re all idiots.”

Rabbit Admonished for Talking With Mouthful
A local rabbit is in trouble Sunday morning after attempting to speak with his mouthful. According to sources close to the situation, the rabbit was yelled at by friends when it appeared he was about to open his mouth while he was still chewing a large mouthful of grass.
While some feel that this was the right thing to do, others aren’t so sure. One witness, who spoke to The Fluffington Post on the condition of anonymity wasn’t convinced the rabbit was about to speak at all.
“I mean… yes he was chewing some grass at the time, and yes he did start to open his mouth as if to talk, but… he’s a rabbit,” said the witness. “Have you ever heard a rabbit talk? They don’t really make too much noise.”
Fair point.
