Most of her friends know Early Bird Cat’s fondness for films, but few understand the scope of the fluffy white feline’s collection.
“She owns more than 3,500 DVDs,” says Rebecca Shore, the cat’s insurance agent. “Most are horror and thriller flicks. She’s got a substantial personal articles policy out on the collection, I’ll tell you that much.”

A pit bull named Blanche was laughed out of a Los Angeles night club Tuesday evening when she arrived wearing an overcoat she had made her self from a bed comforter and two safety pins.
“I’m sure she’s very crafty, but you can’t pull off that that home-sewn look on Santa Monica Boulevard,” says fashion writer Mindy Pearson. “I’m sure she could find a reasonably priced blazer at H&M.”

Dog Describes Burglary Suspect to Police
When Lily the dog’s house was robbed last month, she was able to scare off the burglar by running downstairs and barking. Though she only got a fleeting glimpse of the culprit, she was able to describe what she saw to the police with enough detail to generate a relatively complete composite sketch.
“I’d say we’re looking for a poodle,” said Sgt. Denny Anders after reviewing the sketch. “A fancy one.”
