Employees at the office of San Francisco, CA mobile app startup Flizzl are unhappy about their new office IT cat, Albert. According to sources close to the situation, employees have filed at least two complaints with HR about the cat’s attitude.
“He’s always judging you,” said software engineer Miriam Cole. “I’m a programmer. I’m pretty good with computers, so it’s not like I’m asking him stupid questions. But no matter what, he always acts like whatever is wrong is my fault.”
The cat has remained aloof despite attempts by coworkers to connect.
“He always eats lunch alone,” said marketing intern Cameron Duthier. “And it’s always the same thing: sardines. Just sardines. It’s weird, man. I’ve tried to sit with him, but he just gives you that look of his. Makes me kinda uneasy.”
Duthier says he’s also tried to invite Albert out after work, but the cat doesn’t want to socialize outside the office.
“I get it, he’s always fixing stupid computer problems at work all day, that’s enough to drive anyone nuts,” said Duthier. “But he’s got to relax once in awhile.”

Waking up after losing an hour of sleep during the switch over to daylight savings time is hard for everyone. But a local pup named Pirate took it harder than most.
“She snoozed right through her alarm,” says Amy Friedman, a source familiar with the situation. “And she just kept snoozing.”
All told, Pirate slept three days since the time change, waking up Wednesday afternoon in a daze and rather hungry.
“She missed Super Tuesday and the latest NCIS: Log Angeles, but thank God she has a DVR,” says Friedman with a sigh of relief. “I’m just glad she’s OK and well-rested.”
