Dog’s Workout Video Top Rated on Netflix

In an effort to reach more of the valuable dog demographic, Netflix has recently added a large number of canine-centric titles to its streaming library. Turner and Hooch, Beethoven, Marley & Me, and Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey highlight the new crop of films.

But nothing has drawn more views, according to online video industry blog IPTV Pundit, than a doggie workout video called Sweatin’ with Bagel, which stars a lovable and trim Piebald Dachshund mix named Bagel.

“Dogs love Bagel,” said Netlfix VP of Canine Programming, Marisa Lumis, who acknowledged that Sweatin’ was popular, but would not confirm view numbers. “He works you hard, but he makes it fun.”

Cat Claims Judge Bias After Unfavorable Ruling

After ruling that Hugo the cat was not entitled to compensatory damages resulting from a July incident with a neighborhood dog that left his scratching post in tatters, Judge Dempsie, who has served on the bench for 21 dog years, is being accused of judicial misconduct.

“This was clearly a case of extreme bias,” said Colette Kunzig, the lawyer for Hugo. “My client presented clear video evidence of the guilty party destroying his scratching post. But everyone knows Judge Dempsie never rules against dogs.”

For his part, Dempsie is denying claims of misconduct.

“Judge Dempsie is a well respected member of the judiciary and has always passed fair and appropriate judgments,” read a statement from his office.

The case may go in front of the judicial review board next month.
