Puppy Not Happy About Moving, Redecorating Plans

After years spent in a spacious California home, Lily the dog is not thrilled about her family’s upcoming move to New York City. Sources familiar with the situation say that she’s disappointed that much of her favorite furniture will not be making the trip east.

“You know how most people have a favorite chair?” said family member Denia Wing. “Well from the moment we bought it, Lily decided that the whole couch was hers.”

The plush leather couch has been a focal point of the family’s California living room, and Lily wanted to bring it along. But Wing opted to redecorate once they reach their new digs.

“It’s just not practical in the tiny new apartment to have such a huge sectional,” Wing said. “Lily’s not happy about leaving it here, but I’m sure sure we can find another nice couch in New York.”

Tiger Discovers He Does Not Like Pineapple

Though he was told by numerous friends that it was delicious, Stripes the tiger determined on Wednesday that he most certainly does not like pineapple.

“He’s used to the classic flavors of Indian cuisine, like tamarind and cardamom,” close confidante Padma Shah told The Fluffington Post. “He thought that he might like pineapple mixed with some red curry, but … no, he wasn’t a fan.”

Stripes has been trying to go vegetarian for health reasons, but friends don’t think that’s necessarily wise.

“He reads a lot on the Internet and he gets really into diets, but he’s fickle,” said Shah. “Last week it was Paleo, and he couldn’t get enough meat. Now he’s on the Engine 2 diet and it’s all plant-based foods. But I mean, he’s a carnivore, he’s supposed to eat meat. I don’t think this is healthy.”
