Chicago Pups Disagree on Choice of Favorite Baseball Team

Thought they can’t agree on which of Chicago’s professional baseball teams to root for, Caramia (on right, age 6) and Kali-Ma (on left, age 5) are still best friends.  Caramia is an avid fan of the White Sox, while Kali-Ma bleeds Cubs blue.  What brings them together?  Their shared heritage as immigrants from the Dominican Republic and their love of the couch.  

“While they are both accustomed to relaxing on a dirt floor, or underneath a palm tree, the famously-comfortable American couch is a welcome change for them,” Michael Menelli told The Fluffington Post.

STUDY: Organically Raised Kittens Are Better For You

A new study from the USDA finds that farm fresh, organic kittens are 25-30% healthier for you than those raised conventionally.  The study compared conventional and organic kitties from 30 different farms across the country.

This is great news for organic kitten farmers, who had a bumper crop in 2011 following the previous year’s catnip famine.

Big-Eared Fox Is Latest Weapon in War on Terror

According to national security experts, the gigantic ears on fennec foxes make them perfectly suited for covert surveillance operations.  That’s why the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense has authorized a $2 billion fund to create and train the new Fox Undercover Reconnaissance Squad (also known by the informal moniker, the FURS).

Kitten Behind Bars After Savage Cute Attack

A 2-month old kitten is in custody this morning after a brutal cute attack left at least one victim so overcome with cute that she was unable stand without assistance for three hours. Witnesses to the terrible event found it difficult to speak about so soon, but one onlooker told The Fluffington Post that the suspect’s wanton use of cuteness was “unspeakably horrific." 

"It was awful,” said the witness, who wished to remain anonymous out of fear of reprisal. “The kitten just sat there being… [sob]… so gosh darn cute. There was one woman who sighed so hard I think she may have cracked a rib.  My face still hurts from smiling.  Terrible.  Just terrible.”
