Charlie, a two-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, prevailed in the finals of the 102nd annual Texas State Interspecies Staring Championships on Saturday. Charlie won on points after a grueling 12-round bout against defending champion, Norman the Turtle. “I’ve never seen anything like it,” said one awed spectator after the match.
