Researchers Pinpoint World’s Laziest Cat
After years of searching, researchers at Oxford University have finally located the laziest cat in the world.
“His name is Seuss. He’s five years old, and lives in Brooklyn, NY,” says Francis Wall, who spearheaded the study.
Determining a kitty’s “laziness quotient” isn’t easy. According to the Oxford team, it’s a complex calculation with factors like willingness to stand up, overall productivity and Cheeto consumption.
“Finding the world’s laziest cat was a daunting task, but through trial and error and a lot of number crunching, we’re about 80% sure Seuss is it,” Wall tells The Fluffington Post.

Celebrity Corgi Treated for Exhaustion
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
According to several media outlets, Seamus the corgi is currently resting comfortably after being admitted to a Los Angeles hospital this week. A noted celebrity and famous dog, Seamus was said to be suffering from exhaustion-like symptoms.
“He works so hard,” says Janice Teague, Seamus’ publicist. “I keep telling him to slow down. The book signings, the fragrance launches, the media appearances… he just doesn’t stop.”
As the corgi’s attending physician tells The Fluffington Post, Seamus’ case is among the worst he’s seen. “He’s dog-tired,” says Dr. Jeffrey Mack, MD. “I mean, you can just see it. The breathing. The eyes. The lying-down. Classic exhaustion."
Initially listed as serious, the pup’s condition is said to be slowly improving. "He just needs to rest,” says Dr. Mack. “These celebrities… one can only imagine what they go through.”

Kitten Implicated In Financial Malfeasance
Julliet, the kitten CEO of hedge fund Cuddle Capital, LP, has been accused by the SEC of short-selling toxic assets based on insider information.
“We’re not at liberty to disclose all the details of this investigation, and no arrests have been made,” Connor Black, an SEC spokesperson, said at a press conference on Sunday. “But this is a very serious matter, and we will be taking every step to ensure that kittens who engage in financial collusion pay the appropriate penalty.”
