Cat Joins Neighborhood Watch
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
A local cat answered the call of duty last week by joining the highest citizen-based crime-stopping network his town could offer – the Waukesha, WI neighborhood watch.
“Louie was always a vigilant cat,” says Fran Crenshaw, a source close to the situation. “This just made sense. Besides, he always wanted to join.”
Most days, Louie can be found by his favorite window, looking out for any suspicious activity. His laundry basket outpost is said to give him an optimal, cozy vantage point over his immediate surroundings.
“He sits there pretty much all day,” says Crenshaw. “Watching. Sleeping here and there, but mostly watching. If that doesn’t scream ‘upstanding citizen,’ I don’t know what does.”

Narcoleptic Kitten Passes Out Cold
A kitty named Gustav was wrapping up some household chores when he passed out cold on the dining room floor. His doctors later confirmed that kitten narcolepsy is fairly common.
“Many cats find they are suddenly ‘plum tuckered out,’ to use a medical term,” says Dr. Nathan Grindhouse, MD. “All it takes is a quick cat nap, and they’re back on their feet.”
