Puppy Adopts Duck From Local Park
Snickers, a Tibetan Spaniel puppy, made his first official visit to the park on Tuesday. While most of the afternoon was spent taking in the scenery and shaking paws with local residents, he did not leave without a souvenir.
“He adopted his very own pet duck,” says Jen Werts, who assisted Snickers with the paperwork. “He’s five months old already. I think he can handle this kind of responsibility.”

The biggest entry on any couch potato’s social calendar is Discovery Channel’s annual Shark Week, set to kick off Sunday for the 25th year in a row. However, for this year’s event, hosted by YouTube celebrity Philip DeFranco, Discovery has some serious competition: the Internet.
Yes, from the same medium that brought you Rebecca Black, Double Rainbow and Peanut Butter Jelly Time, comes what could be the greatest achievement yet: Animals Acting Like Sharks Week.

Dog’s New Hat Embarrasses Friends
August has just begun, but New Jersey pup Flynn is already gearing up for winter.
“He bought one of those tall, Russian fur hats,” says Phil Cole, a friend. “Fake fur, of course. But he insists on wearing it out with us, and people just stare. It’s kind of embarrassing.”
Flynn just had life-saving surgery! He’s doing better now, but his medical bills are expensive. A small donation would go a long way.
