REPORT: Pug Puppy Working on High-Five
Sky News is reporting that a pug puppy named Gunvald is working diligently on his high-fiving skills, with two sources claiming that he has steadily improved since October.
“It’s a challenge, but it gets better with each passing day,” Felix Eckhart told Sky in an interview. “We’re holding out hope that he’ll be able get ‘up high’ and ‘down low’ without being ‘too slow’ by Christmas.”

Polar Bear Mom Chauffeurs Cubs to Activities
With public transit relatively limited in the Arctic Circle, a polar bear mom named Lucy has taken up the task of delivering area cubs to soccer practice, ice cream shops and the mall.
“It started with her own cubs, but all the parents have taken her up on it,” says Linda Carmichael, an area resident. “She’ll pick up four at a time if they’re on the way. She really wants all the kids to get out outside rather than sit around playing video games all day.”

Cat Redecorates Apartment 3 Times in 1 Week
Never satisfied, interior designer/cat Fran took down the tapestry that adorned her ceiling early Sunday, marking the third redesign in her apartment in the last week.
“She always second guesses her own taste,” says roommate Jennifer Spindel. “It’s good to be meticulous, I guess. But I worry about her nerves sometimes.”

Squirrel Finishes Last Bit of Halloween Candy
In an effort that took more than two weeks, an area squirrel named Carl polished off the last Snickers bar in his Trick-or-Treat bag Sunday.
“With the winter coming, we honestly expected this sooner,” says candy analyst Chip Foster. “Looks like Carl is headed for hibernation with a belly full of corn sugar.”
