Local Dog Expects Belly Rubs

A local French Bulldog named Brigitte has reportedly grown very demanding when it comes to her daily belly rub.

“It’s getting kind of ridiculous,” said Amy Jahns, a source close to the situation.  "4 o’clock rolls around and there she is on the couch, flopped on her back, expecting a belly rub. I mean, I have a life, I can’t be at her beck and call.“

Apparently, Brigitte doesn’t see it that way.  A spokesperson for the pup told The Fluffington Post that Brigitte feels that she in entitled to her daily tummy rub and that she expects it to be delivered promptly.

Cat’s Private Boudoir Photography Leaked by TMZ

Gossip website TMZ.com has leaked private bedroom photos of one Akira the cat.  The cat, a socialite and heir to the Mr. Salmonsworth Fish Flakes fortune, is a popular target of the paparazzi.  Last year, photographers caught Akira flashing some skin outside of the Kit Kat Club in Berlin, which led to a temporary dip in fish flake stock prices.

The latest photographs, which depict Akira in various states of undress, were supposedly commissioned by the cat for then-boyfriend, Whiskers, a reality TV star.

It’s not known how TMZ got a hold of the photos, but Akira has released a statement through her lawyers vowing to take the website to court.

Panda Cub’s Future with NBA Uncertain

After a workout in front of scouts and coaches on Friday morning, basketball experts are saying that panda cub Xiao Liwu’s prospects of being signed by an NBA team have taken a step back.  

“Xiao Liwu was definitely one of the most intriguing prospects in the game,” said ESPN analyst Mike Franco.  “But Friday’s workout did not go well. There’s no way to sugarcoat it.“

Insiders say that while coaches gushed over the 3-point shooting ability that first put Liwu on the world radar, they were unimpressed with his hand-eye coordination and inability to make strong moves inside.  “He still has a great outside game, but you have to be able to man up in the paint to play in the NBA,” said Franco.  “He just didn’t show that ability in front of the scouts.“

The panda is an unrestricted free agent after playing professionally in China last year.
