Kitten Too Busy for This Whole ‘Playtime’ Thing
A Persian kitten named Harold remains cautious when it comes to playing, according to a number of eye-witnesses.
“He’s got a few pieces of string and this ball, but he just kinda stares at them,” says Jessica Flores, a source familiar with the situation. “He’s so busy at the office, I’m not sure he really sees a lot of value in playtime.”
Playtime can be valuable for young cats, according to kitten psychologist Geoffrey Eichner. “It hones their paw-eye coordination, and is generally very relaxing,” says Dr. Eichner, who published an August study on feline play in the journal Kittens Today. “It’s strange that Harold is disinterested in a lot of the fun activities of his peers. But, maybe his time is better spent making mad bank. It’s hard to argue with that kind of logic.”

Cat Receives Secret Transmission From Rebel Alliance
A San Francisco-based cat named Mowgli has come into possession of an R2-series droid whose memory banks contain some sort of distress call, according to witnesses.
“It shows this hologram thing of some girl,” says Phil Cavanaugh, a friend of the cat who accidentally triggered the message while tinkering with the robot. “Something about Moby Don Shinobi? I don’t know, I wasn’t really paying attention. The thing makes a great scratching post, though.”

Grown-Up Cat Still Likes to Go on the Internet
Last summer, The Fluffington Post profiled Pema, a 9-week-old kitten who enjoyed getting on the Internet nearly every day.
Now she’s all grown up, but her love of the Internet hasn’t faded a bit.
“Pema loves the Internet because it’s nice and warm,” says Karen Foster, a source close to the situation. “She’s a little bigger now, so we were worried she’d outgrow the Internet. But she manages to squeeze online even now.”
