Ferrets Can Snuggle Too, Say Ferrets
By Scott Friedstein, FluffPo Correspondent
In an effort to prove that they are just as snuggly as other furry pets, a pair of ferrets are staging “snuggle-ins” around the U.S. Though this aggressive tactic could lead to further skepticism, reports indicate that Philby and Bärchen are in it to win it.
“They’re just tired of puppies and kittens getting all the glory,” says Taran Graham, a source close to the situation. “And, to a lesser extent, rabbits. They’re out to prove a point.”
So far, responses have ranged from “Aww?” to “What is that?”
“Some people just don’t understand it,” says Graham. “That’s OK. These things take time. Nobody understood it when Sonny and Cher first got together.”
