Having a Dog in Your Desk Decreases Productivity By 25%

According to new research from the National Association for Pet Friendly Workplaces, so-called “desk dogs” decrease worker productivity by up to 25%.  "Let me be clear: dog-friendly work places are great,“ said spokesperson Cheryl McIntyre.  "This study specifically addressed the growing phenomenon of desk dogs – tiny dogs kept in or on the desk.  These types of dogs actually hurt an employee’s ability to get work done in a timely fashion.”
