Kitten Charged With Illegal ‘Cuteness Enhancement’
Though it is explicitly banned by the International Federation of Professional Cats, many felines have been caught using cuteness enhancing substances. This little guy was caught using non-corrective, cosmetic contact lenses that cause his eyes to literally shine with adorableness. He faces a 50-day suspension.

Baby Owl Lands Lead Role in ‘Angry Birds’ Movie
Though a film based on the hit mobile game isn’t likely to hit theaters before 2014, sources close to ‘Angry Birds’ creator Rovio confirm that the movie’s lead has already been cast.
While many speculated that the unusually wingless birds would likely require computer animation, Rovio was adamant that live action was the only way to go. After a 2-month worldwide search for an avian with the proper body type and necessary “angry spunkiness,” the role has been awarded to Sam, an adorable baby owl who definitely looks the part.
The Fluffington Post is also told that Sam plans to do all his own stunts.

Top Footballing Tiger to Join MLS
In a move that is seen by many as just a publicity stunt, the U.K.’s top football playing tiger will make the jump to America in 2013. The tiger will make $10 million/year over a four season contract to be the starting striker for Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire club.

Anxious Kitten Swears There’s a Sound Coming From the Left-Front Tire
10-month-old Weda is a bit high-strung when it comes to auto maintenance. While no one in the family can corroborate, she swears she hears a scraping noise coming from the front of the car, especially on cold days when she’s driving in reverse. Even a call to NPR’s Car Talk did not allay her fears that something is very, very wrong.
