Squirrel Found “Planking” In the Wild

A black squirrel was discovered early Monday exhibiting strange behavior that could only be attributed to the Internet phenomenon “planking.”

Kitten Stranded Atop Scratching Post for 3 Days

Peeta, age three months, climbed to the top of her scratching post early Friday morning, only to look down and see she was a good two feet off the ground – far too high to descend.

The local fire department attempted to coax Peeta down from her perch for three days before finally resolving to go up after her, according to witnesses on the scene. The kitten was rescued without injury.

The American College of Clinical Pharmacy released its 2011 numbers today, and many were surprised to see a sharp spike in the number of Zoloft prescriptions written for dogs with depression.

While some experts cite the continued economic downturn as a cause of doggie blues, others believe a bacon shortage in October may have contributed to the uptick.
