Bunny Plans to Go All Vegan

As part of a New Year’s resolution to lose weight and lower his risk of heart disease, a local bunny named Tamotsu has decided to try eating strictly vegan in 2013. 

“Tam got some bad news from the doctor at a check up last week,” said close friend Peter Miles. “His blood pressure was 125 over 85 – prehypertension.  His doctor recommended some dietary changes.”

According Miles, Tamotsu will be switching to a diet mostly consisting of leafy greens and the occasional carrot.

BREAKING: Area Bunny Is Bored

Numerous reports indicate that Fluffers the bunny is suffering from an unusually strong malaise this evening and is having trouble shaking it.

“Oh he’s definitely very bored,” said Sharon Markham, a source close to the situation. “He’s just been sitting there doing nothing the past couple of hours. Every once in awhile he sighs.”

According to Markham, numerous attempts have been made to try to cheer the bunny up, but nothing has worked. “We even tried moving up Christmas a few days and letting him open some presents early, but nothing,” said Markham.  "We’re not sure what to do now.  He’s just really, really bored.“

Bunny Drinks Too Much Egg Nog at Holiday Party

Wilbur the bunny called in sick for work today, but co-workers suspect that he’s really just sleeping one off after last night’s Christmas party.  

“He took to the egg nog like a moth to a flame,” recalled officemate Winnie Pon.  "Every time I looked over, there was Wilbur with another glass.  He must have had five or six.“

Management is reportedly not pleased with Wilbur taking the day off after getting silly at the office party.  There is a company policy about not adding additional days off right before a scheduled vacation and Wilbur is taking all of next week to visit family in Michigan.  However, they can’t prove that Wilbur isn’t really sick, so likely no disciplinary action will be taken.
