Frenchie Lands Modeling Contract with Calvin Klein
Rising French Bulldog model star Terry Sampson March, who goes by the single-word moniker French, has signed a lucrative three-year contract with Calvin Klein.
The contract is the richest ever given to a dog model, worth in the neighborhood of $525,000, according to sources.
“We’ve really liked the work French has been doing for canine brands like Science Diet, Nylabone and Wag.com,” said Tayla Armstrong, a recruiter for Calvin Klein. “We really think he’s ready to make the jump into mainstream modeling.”
Though Armstrong acknowledged that the contract was a very large commitment for a relatively young and unknown commodity, she said that in French the clothing giant feels it has found someone special.
“We’re really excited about what this pup brings to the table,” she said.

Labradoodle Making New Friends at College
A Labradoodle named Samantha is reportedly adjusting very well to life at her new school. The dog transferred from the University of Wisconsin to Texas A&M last week and has already made several new friends.
“She was really worried about the move,” said Tamara Shenkman, a friend from back home. “She bled Badger red, and heading to the SEC from the Big Ten was heartbreaking.”
But Samantha decided she wanted to wanted to major in Poultry Sciences, a degree program that wasn’t offered at UW.
“What can I say? The girl just loves chasing chickens,” said Shenkman.

Pup Tries to Toughen Image with Novelty T-Shirt
Cavalli the Yorkie has been frustrated by how his friends perceive him.
“He’s just the cutest, shweetest wittle puppy wuppy around!” said Jessie Salt, a close friend of the dog.
But Cavalli is a tough guy, or at least, he wants to be. He’s sick of being seen as a cute little weakling who needs to be carried around in a purse and dressed up in adorable outfits.
Last month, he decided to do something about his image. He signed up for a gym, he switched from diet soda to regular, and he got a new wardrobe. Specifically, he bought a t-shirt he thought said, “Bad to the Bone” on it – a message he absolutely wanted to embody.
Unfortunately for Cavalli, the shirt actually has the pun “Rad to the Bone” printed on the back. And that has just compounded the problem.
He’s not giving up, though. He’s going to try out a new shirt next week that reads: “Semper Fido” – he’s hoping this one has a better result.
