Australian Puppy Finds Love With Plush Duck
As we have previously reported, love knows no bounds in the animal kingdom. Indy, of Brisbane, Australia (pictured here at eight weeks old), was absolutely enamored with a stuffed duck. While the two are no longer romantically entangled, they remain close friends to this day.

Meeko, a 7-month-old from Temperance, MI has already shown his stripes as a non-conformist. While his friends are busy with more commercial toys like balls and Frisbees, Meeko makes his own fun with household items like hairbrushes and hangers, according to Melissa Pawlak, a source close to the situation.
More Dogs Are Delaying Retirement Than Ever Before
As the largest generation of dogs in history is about to hit retirement age, a new study released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that more than ever, pups are putting off leaving the work force. "The economic climate is such that many canines feel the have to work more years so that they can stretch pensions further once they do retire,“ said Sandy Almonte, head of the BLS’ dog research division.
